Cervical cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related death in women. Over 99% of cervical cancer cases can be attributed to persistent infection by high-risk genotypes of human papillomavirus (HR-HPV). The World Health Organization recognizes 14 HR-HPV genotypes capable of inducing cervical cancer, HPV16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, and 68. CerviHPV® test enables simultaneous detection of the genomic DNA of these 14 HR-HPV genotypes in a single-tube real-time quantitative PCR reaction.
