This kit is a companion kit for CerviHPV® test (VRHPF048-00). While HPV16 and 18 can be directly genotyped by CerviHPV® test, the other 12 HR-HPV genotypes, HPV31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, and 68, are detected by a single fluorescence channel, thus cannot be genotyped by the same assay. For CerviHPV® test results positive for this fluorescence channel, if desired, the identities of the HR-HPV genotypes present in the samples can be determined by this kit.
